The course has theory and practical components. Our training is delivered alongside a Tutor/Makeup Artist in a commercial Beauty Space environment (practical) and face to face in the classroom (theory). This is an exciting programme which includes Makeup workshops to extend your creativity and expand your knowledge on from unit standards. This allows for assessment in authentic working conditions.

NZ CERTIFICATE IN MAKEUP & SKINCARE (LEVEL 3)
This is a 20 week study programme with Level 3 skills.
We encourage parents to accompany the prospective student to the interview as the course is very comprehensive and family support is important for students’ success.

- Makeup & Skincare (Knowledge & Skill)
- Conditions skin & nails
We have a fully equipped Beauty Centre that runs commercially for authentic assessment situations. Students nearer the end of the programme will be offered work experience if required.
The costs of training may change per intake and can be quoted when applying.
2019 Course costs $5,500.00
Equipment kits, including makeup are part of the course.

This primarily focuses on capturing the students enthusiasm, excitement and keeps them focused on attendance & application to learning.
As the director I take it upon myself and use my contacts within the industry to source out part time jobs, or work experience within the Manawatu, and further a field if necessary, for students towards the end of the course. You will be feeling confident to be able to start doingwedding parties & ball makeups within this programme. We have an 95% job success for students completing the programme to date. Hard working students with excellent attendance, attitude and skill will in fact get the best jobs. It’s all about attitude!

The course runs from Tuesday through Friday 9.00am to 4:00pm late night Thursday till 7:30pm (compulsory)
Course holiday breaks are two weeks of the National Primary School holiday. NB: October Holidays all sites only has one week. Plus we have a 5 week Christmas and New Year break.
Students must have NCEA Level 1 or similar
